The FRINGS SSHS process for the production of high percentage vinegar requires a particularly carefully coordinated, special process control. Three different, combined dosing lines are used – one for process water, one for alcohol and one for the nutrient solution.
The dosing system, which is integrated into the ACETATOR plant in terms of piping, feeds the quantities required for the recipe directly into the connected ACETATOR according to demand. The dosed quantities are precisely recorded, reported back to the control unit and compared with the setpoint values.
The system is available for mixing and dosing a nutrient solution for up to six connected ACETATORS. An individually adjustable amount of nutrients is mixed as required and then dosed very reliably and precisely to the connected ACETATOR.
The automatic dosing request of the respective ACETATOR is made via the data communication of the respective PLC of ACETOCONTROL S7i or ACETOMAT S7 with the nutrient dosing system.
This proven system automatically mixes process water and an arbitrarily concentrated alcohol base to produce a corresponding mash of a specified strength. The control system always ensures that the mixing tank (capacity up to 130 m³ / day) remains full. From this tank the individual ACETATORS are supplied as required via the connected charge pumps.
