PROREACT B PRODUCTION BIOREACTORS

PLANT DESCRIPTION

We realize PROREACT B plants with working volumes of up to 200,000 L. They are designed, manufactured and commissioned on a project-specific basis and are adapted to the bioprocessing tasks as required.

The plants usually consist of:

• Tank, optionally with double jacket or «Pillow Plates», made of stainless steel 1.4301/1.4404
• Surfaces in contact with the product of quality Ra ≤ 0.8 μm
• Standard agitators or optional aeration turbine FRIBORATOR / TRG
• Optional FOAMEX foam centrifuge
• Supply lines for mechanical seals
• Optional internal or external heat exchanger with peripherals
• Piping and fittings e.g. according to DIN 11851 and DIN 11864 for substrates, products, cleaning by CIP and SIP
• Compact racks to accommodate all pipes and aggregates (for large fermenters divided between different platforms)
• Supply air filter unit
• Condensate lines
• Sensors and field devices
• Central control unit with SIEMENS SPS and touch panel

Smaller production systems up to 5,000 L can be completely manufactured and commissioned as «package units» at our factory in Rheinbach (Germany).

Larger plants are assembled from prefabricated subunits at the construction site and commissioned there.
For industrial production plants, each project is calculated according to the economic efficiency principles with regard to investment, operating costs and performance of the fermenter or fermenter line in close cooperation with you as the customer in order to find the best economic solution.

Common to all PROREACT B fermenters is that only the equipment and standards absolutely necessary for operation are integrated into the plants. Therefore, in addition to the initial costs, the operating and maintenance costs are minimized.
